The 4-tiered Strategy to make mean evil Dr.Leia cry after she made me cry in her office…
1. find a frickin gym…I need professional help…. :-( & maybe the jaws of life to pry the burger and fries from my hands
2. Modify my diet…must take baby steps…must take baby steps
3. Work my plan… the efficacy plan that is….(will explain more later)
4. BLOG about my experience in hopes that someone will keep me accountable …although that is a mixed hope
After a recent visit to my doctor, I learned that I weighted about 20 more pounds than I knew. I stopped weighting myself long ago, it was too depressing and I wanted to be free of that bondage of my emotions being tied to a scale. It's about being healthy right? Weight is only number.....unfortunately it's not, it does matter. BUT it only matters in terms of health not self-worth. To say the least after I received the news I was stunned, but I never thought my weight would EVER climb that high or at least somehow thought I would be aware of it before it happened. Sure my clothes began to fit, but the last time they fit I was at the weight 20 pounds less mark. Since it has soared to this all time new high, I know that if I do not intervene it can go even higher. So I am implementing various strategies to her against my personal battle of the bulge. or burger... or whatever!! This blog is one of a 4 tiered strategy.
